Thanks for letting me know about that cable, that looks like that is what I need to do to keep both programs from trying to use the same comm port and conflicting.

The key to get digi modes working is to set DATA MODE OFF to USB in the radio function and set the option on the remote radio control to on disconnect select MOD to USB, that way it does not get changed when turning the radio on and off. WSJT-X can change bands on the radio just fine but I need to monitor the radio while working digimodes. So I can bring up the radio using the remote desktop, set the radio how I want, then disconnect the radio control and use WSJT-X just fine remotely through the remote desktop, but can not monitor the radio while I do it, which I don't want to do. I have the radio working on the shack computer, and I have WJST-X working on the shack computer and I have Chrome Remote desktop working.
